Inbar Lavi is an Israeli actress. She was born on 27 th October 1986 and was raised in Ramat Gan, Israeli. Inbar Lavi studied acting at the Sophie Moskowitz School of Acting in Tel Aviv Israel. She started acting in 2004 at the age of 17 and still acts to date.
She has featured in many films and television shows including the famous Netflix series Lucifer (2016), MTV series Underemployed, Fox series Prison Break (2017), and Bravo television series Imposters (2017).

Inbar Lavi and Dan Bar Shira tied the knot at a beach wedding in Israel. The two met in the Nevada desert at the Burning Man festival in August 2019. Two years later on September 13 th , 2021, the two celebrated their wedding in the presence of 400 family and friends. The wedding tried to emulate the Burning Man festival by having a free-flow festival. The two currently live in Los Angeles. Dan Bar Shira is 8 years younger than Inbar Lavi.
As a child, Lavi suffered from asthma. Inbar Lavi was born on 27 th October 1986 in Ramat Gan. Due to her illness, Lavi had to use a Nebulizer every 45 minutes. Over time, Lavi has grown out of asthma. She is cured and healthy. Lavi testified that dance helped her to connect to her breath hence improving her condition. During this time, she watched movies thereby falling in love with cinema and acting.

Inbar Lavi has stated in many interviews that she looks up to Natalie Portman. Natalie Portman is a female actress that Lavi has described as a person who is always brave and honest with her decisions. She further described her as kind and down-to-earth. Lavi pointed out that Natalie Portman stands out to her because she has managed to have a long-lasting and respectable career while keeping her private life private. Her role in the film Leon: The Professional (1994) remains a huge inspiration to her. Natalie Portman is an Israeli-American actress. She has acted since she was a teenager.
This may come as no surprise since she was born in Israel. Lavi loves Israel because that is her home, where she has been brought up, and where her people live. She hopes to raise her kids in Israel since she has a strong connection to her roots. Lavi has fond memories of her childhood in Israel. Having Shabbat dinner and breaking bread with family, going to the beach on Saturday, and watching Israeli movies are her favorite childhood memories in Israel.
Inbar Lavi created her fashion brand House of LAVI during the Covid-19 pandemic. The brand has launched two sunglasses lies with Saint Owen. They have also debuted a line of sweats. All the proceeds of the fashion brand went to the female-owned businesses that were affected by the pandemic.

Lavi studied ballet and modern dance at the Kiryat Sharet High School in Holon, Israel. She also studied acting at the Sophie Moskowitz School of Acting in Tel Aviv. In high school, Lavi took a part-time job in the library. The job involved filling in gaps in American movies and series. This helped her polish her English. She saved money while working and paid for her plane ticket to New York City where she hoped to head start her career.

Inbar Lavi is mixed-race. While her father is of Polish-Jewish (Ashkenazi Jewish) ancestry, Lavi’s mother is Moroccan-Jewish. Her father, Zohar Lavi ran on the Knesset job list. He later retired to business. Her mother was a secretary. She has a big sister and two little brothers. Her father supported her dream to venture into acting. He placed a video camera in front of her and Lavi would practice acting and imitating people from a young age.
Inbar Lavi wanted to kick start her career hence the big decision to move to New York. She performed in many off-Broadway productions after she moved to New York City. After 8 months, she moved to Los Angeles. By this time, Lavi had received a full scholarship to the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute. She received the scholarship after working hard and performing exceptionally in many stage shows.
Cordelia was among the first English-speaking roles that Inbar Lavi played. Cordelia is a fictional character in William Shakespeare’s play King Lear. It was a 2006 production of King Lear. The production was composed by Tom Badal. King Lear is based on the mythological Leir of Britain who had three daughters. Cordelia was the youngest of the three daughters.

Inbar Lavi desired to join the Israeli Defence Forces. She was however designated to be a VIP driver. Eventually, she did not join the army completely. She speculates that maybe she was not drafted because she had a problem with her knees, or because she smoked. She also thinks the reason why she was not drafted was because her parents had been divorced at some point. She however does not regret being unable to join the army.
